Tempo

The Tempo button is available on both the app bar and the floating buttons.

Tap Tempo to start the metronome, and tap again to stop it. The metronome flashes and/or clicks at the song’s Tempo (BPM).

Press and hold Tempo to open Set Tempo.

• Current shows the tempo and duration already on the song.
• New is what you are about to save. Tap the duration to set the length yourself. The dialog is titled Duration.
• Tap Here sets the tempo from your taps. The button counts the taps.
• Auto-set Duration appears when the song already has a duration. It scales that duration when the tempo changes. Turn it off to keep the duration you set.

Under Metronome Behavior you choose whether you hear a tick, whether the Tempo button flashes, whether the app bar flashes, the flash color, and whether the metronome starts at app startup or only when you tap Tempo.
