Viewing the chart

The song screen displays the formatted song chart. Song Format sets the display mode for the chart. General Appearance sets what else is on the screen.

Display mode

Display Mode (for each song) is one of:

• Scrolling (vertical) moves the whole chart up the screen. Auto scroll works in this mode.
• Paging (horizontal) turns the chart page by page.
• One page (if it fits, otherwise Paging) keeps a short chart on one screen and pages a longer one.

Lyrics-only mode hides the chords so you see only the lyrics.

Song Zoom scales the chords and lyrics. How that changes the chart in each display mode is described in Song Zoom.

Song note text sits under the metadata, above the rest of the song. In scrolling mode, Line Limit caps how many note lines stay visible. Tap the note text to reveal the rest.

Full-screen

Full screen hides the system status bar. By default, double-tapping the center of a song screen toggles full-screen mode, but you can assign Toggle Full Screen to any pedal or touch zone gesture in Pedals & Touch Zones.

Hiding the AppBar

Hide AppBar has three choices:

• Never hide leaves the bar up.
• Hide in full-screen mode hides it when you enter full-screen and reveals it when you exit full-screen. When hidden, tap the top of the screen to bring it back for a few seconds.
• Always hide (tap to show) keeps it out of the way. Tap the top of the screen to bring it back for a few seconds.

When the AppBar is hidden, the floating buttons show the colors that the app bar buttons normally show (auto-scrolling status and flashing tempo).
